More About Me

My story begins in Asheville, NC, Buncombe County when I was born at Memorial Mission hospital in 1956.  My parents brought me home to Haywood County where I lived until 1981.  During this time, I graduated from Pisgah High school in 1974, attended Asheville-Buncombe Tech in the Civil Engineering curriculum, and in 1977 graduated from Haywood Community College with a degree in Business Administration. During this time, I took classes, passed the test and acquired my North Carolina Real Estate license(1978).  My first jobs after school were with land surveying companies, which is great experience for the real estate  business. However, in 1981, I made a career change and worked in the industrial construction business as an instrument fitter for 10 years.  This led to a 25 year career with Kimberly-Clark Corp. as an electrical, instrumentation, mechanical technician. After retiring from Kimberly-Clark in 2016, I've teamed with ERA Sunburst Realty to continue my real estate career.

My wife, Teresa and I got married in 1984, and after living in Florida, Colorado, and California, came back home to live in Haywood County. We enjoy live music, working outdoors, and spending time with our friends.

Haywood County is a great place to live and work and I look forward to helping anyone who needs help purchasing a home or selling the one they already have.
